Sacapuntas Copywriting came to be in August 2023, when founder Bethany Lodge had recently moved to Canada and decided to put her years of writing experience where her mouth is.

A former print journalist and communications specialist, Bethany wanted to put her creative energy into writing engaging and attention-grabbing content, and Sacapuntas was born.

Sacapuntas writes content for pretty much any business need. If you’re re-vamping your website, wanting to run regular newsletters, create engaging social media or need someone to proof read your work, we’ll be there with our journalistic sparkle to sharpen up that copy!

Sacapuntas translates as Pencil Sharpener in Spanish. Bethany now holds a degree in Spanish and a love of language which indulges her curiosity about cultures the worldover.

She built and continues to run Sacapuntas while living in BC, Canada, and regularly returns to North-East England.
