Sacapuntas Copywriting came to be in August 2023, when I had recently moved to Canada and decided to put my years of writing experience where my mouth is.

I am Sacapuntas’ founder, Bethany Lodge. A print journalist and communications specialist, I wanted to put my creative energy into writing engaging and attention-grabbing content, and Sacapuntas was born.

Sacapuntas writes content for pretty much any business need. If you’re re-vamping your website, wanting to run regular newsletters, create engaging social media or need someone to proof read your work, we’ll be there with our journalistic sparkle to sharpen up that copy!

Sacapuntas translates as Pencil Sharpener in Spanish. I hold a degree in Spanish and a love of language which indulges my curiosity about cultures the worldover.

I built and continue to run Sacapuntas while living in BC, Canada, and regularly return to North-East England.
